Well the weather suddenly got fantastic, and you can't tell that I haven't washed it in the pictures, at least it doesn't look as dirty as it really is, anyways, here's my new car, seen through not my iPotato
1982 BMW 320i, Hennarot, 5 speed, Sport wheel, Recaros, on 14" Exims
Don't mind the rust on the back....
This is the coolest interior of anything I've had so far. The gross peeling shifter is going to be replaced by the period wooden one sitting beside it
Recaros.....
The wheels I now nothing about and barely seem to exist on the internet except in FS posts on VWVortex
The little M10, I'm already in love with this motor and all 100 of its horespowers
I may need new plug wires...
Love the vents in the hood
This is my favourite picture so far. I love this little car, can't wait to get plates on it

Very nice. Those seats looks great. I know nothing about the E21 but was the red bezel around the head lamps factory?

I love that color. Such a lovely red.
Also that's one clean car too. Leather appears to be mostly in good shape and aside from the nasty shifter it looks great overall. Paint seems to be in pretty good shape.

Great! Pick up a Schrick 284 or 292 cam and a header to wake it up a bit, and enjoy. I love E21s, I had a beat up 323i for a little while about 10 years ago. I've been thinking about finding a 320i as a fun commuter since my 2002 is in pieces.

I've been thinking about getting a cam for it...a header is rather expensive though, if you don't want a 2002 one with the too-low downpipe, it looks like the only option is the korman/stahl.
Also, I want an 02 so badly

Yeah I was surprised at the condition, it's not perfect, but it's pretty damn clean compared to any other E21 I've seen around town

Can't really expect a car to be mint at that age can you? Unless you spend like a lot of monies. Still a really nice car.

Used headers pop up now & then, worth searching for. I got really lucky finding my '02, but I've had it since about '99, before they really started picking up in value. I had a really rusty '68 1600 with a 2.0, Webers, and Recaros, and found my current '68 with a bad rod knock but a solid body, so I picked it up & took all the good stuff out of my old gray one. The 320 is a great, less rust-prone alternative.

Whoa! That's awesome! And yeah, i think I'm gonna have to keep an eagle eye out for a header, I just can't justify $700 plus shipping......especially when i'm looking at this

Oh, that was a while ago. I already sold it, and the new owner found some really nasty rust I didn't know about, so I guess he sold it too :/
